INNOCENCE

I lost my innocence in your eyes,
I’ve lost my compassion in your words,
The years have passed in vain but there is no cure,
So it doesn’t matter what you say anymore!
I kept thinking in the dark nights,
You didn’t really exist, I made you happen in my mind.
The past without the future is meaningless,
Futile narration is all hypothetical.
It is now a necessity to tell the truth,
Unfortunately, your life is a lie!
Take it or leave it,
I’ll never get back the innocence I lost.
The play is over, the curtain is closed!
Where are those who called me a friend yesterday?
Hypocrisy and lies are where I left them,
Tell me, who’d have the sense to see this?

SOMETIMES

Sometimes we’re as cruel to ourselves

Sometimes as close as a breath

Sometimes as far away as the stars…

No matter how far we get,

Sometimes we are closer than our shadow.

Sometimes we deceive ourselves with our fake smiles,

Sometimes we console our minds with feelings we don’t believe in,

Sometimes we chase our dreams,

No matter how much we want, sometimes our efforts are not enough.

Sometimes we worship money, stone, soil, position and authority,

Sometimes we don’t care as if it were dust.

Sometimes the only solution was to leave,

Sometimes we miss the turns desperately ,

Sometimes we erase what makes us who we are…

No matter how much we hide our arrogance behind our compassion,

Sometimes even he can’t hold us back.

Sometimes we’re kings in a giant mirror,

Sometimes at the sycophant king’s table,

Even though we always try to be all, sometimes we are nothing…

TIME

Surely one day you will realise when the time is up,
Not a second of your time will come back,
Maybe you’ll look back with some regret, maybe with some bitterness,
Time will not stop even if you are the emperor …
Like a bottomless pit, deep and dark nights will chase each other, stealing your life from you without asking.
In some minds a century, in others only a moment will remain.
When the hours are silent, there will be no last chance.
You’ll try to stop time by erasing its traces.
Whatever you do, it will shrink, it will gradually melt…
You will rebel against your fate tirelessly,
You’ll ask yourself how did all this time pass?
The things you’ve been putting off will always go further
If you create miracles, you won’t have enough time.
No matter which way you look, no matter who you ask, the results won’t change,
You won’t realise what you’ve lost until it’s all gone…

FAREWELL

It was the irreversible departures that hurt us,
We knew it was too late for everything…
What a mysterious night would arrive in the morning,
Nor would what was lost ever come back.
The echoes of a sad farewell were scattered all around,
Hands were not holding, ears were deafened,
Your eyes didn’t even dare to cry,
A few farewell words on the lips,
Even they, even they didn’t want to spill,
An indescribable grief covered your body,
Sharp as a dagger through the heart,
As bitter as a poison that leads to death.
Now, the meetings were as far away as dreams,
The homeland has become an expatriate, happiness is a lie.
Time seemed to have stopped, the days did not pass,
The songs had lost their meaning, they sang of separation.
The black train was gone, the last ship was at anchor,
The world would not turn, it was as if it had stopped.

HOPE

Everything started with a hope,
It was the only thing that kept us alive.
Flowers sprouted on its branch with it
The butterflies in their cocoon found life with it
It was our hopes that created tomorrow
Wasn’t it who took us to new adventures?
I saw many, there was no one who sold their hope
There could be nothing else that gives us the joy of life
Lighthouse on stormy seas
It was an oasis in thirsty deserts
A twinkle in desperate eyes
It was courage in cowardly hearts…
The darkness turned to light with it
We saw hope in every shade of the rainbow,
At the end of a disappointing ordeal,
Hope was our only branch to hold on to.
It flowed into our hearts like rivers,
It translated our platonic feelings,
Inspired our romantic verses
It was dawn to our dark nights
You hold on to life when you think it’s over,
Everything ends and hope stays with you,
On this short life path we’re walking,
Don’t lose hope, you’ll laugh in the end.

UNENDING SORROW

Silent screams were rising from the streets,
Doors were sealed, lamps did not give light.
The cities were depicting the silence before the storm,
People are silent, animals are silent, mountains are silent…
No one knew why
It seems like it’s been centuries since life lost its color
Many have thought about it and found no cure,
They asked carelessly how we got here,
They did not see, hear or speak for many years,
Maybe not human, but they became monkeys cunningly.
Their calculation didn’t work out and they regretted it,
They were convicted by the court of conscience.
Neither faces nor places have aged,
It was always the same who wore the mask of arrogance,
Many emperors, kings, sultans,
Even they couldn’t beat fate,
They accepted helpless unending sorrow
