
OZKAN KARADAR
(31.08.1984 Beyoglu, Istanbul)
Ozkan Karadar was born on August 31, 1984 in Beyoglu, Istanbul.
Ozkan Karadar’s mother was born in Edirne and his maternal side immigrated from Drama, Greece. Ozkan Karadar’s father was born in Amasya and his paternal side immigrated from Novi Pazar, Serbia.
He completed his primary education at TED Karadeniz Eregli College and secondary school at Karadeniz Eregli Anatolian High School. Then he graduated from Zonguldak Ataturk Anatolian High School. After he finished high school education, he graduated from Gebze Institute of Technology, Department of Materials Science Engineering and Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration. Afterwards, he received acting education at UCLA in USA and DC Cosmos Art Academy in Istanbul.
He stepped into acting with the character of Macbeth in Shakespeare’s play Macbeth in a theater club he attended during his university years. He gained his first movie acting experience in America with the short film If you believe so (2007). Then he starred in the short films The Lower Treshhold (2007), Gidecek yer kalmadi (2020), cinema movie Rüyanda Görürsün, TV series Aldatmak (2022), Gecenin Ucunda (2022), Tuzak (2022), Teskilat (2023), Alsancak (2023), Iyilik (2023), Kardeslerim (2023), as well as the TV series 1973 Biltmore Hotel Cinayeti (2023) and Derin Mor (2023), which were broadcast over the internet.
In addition to his short films, cinema and TV series projects, Ozkan Karadar plays the characters of Teacher, Haluk, Ilhan Selcuk and Commander in the theater play which name is Bir Yeryüzü Ozani (Rifat Ilgaz) directed by Gul Goker.
Thanks to his interest and talent in caricature, he shares the caricatures that he draws on his own comic page called Her Gün Yeni Bir Karikatur.
He started his career as a voice actor in 2012 at Yuppi voiceover agency by performing various commercials and then he also performed commercials, trailers, jingles and poetry at Bibersa Production. He has also been the voice of many famous brands such as Karel Electronics, Bambi Furniture, Renault, Jeunesse, Layher.
Ozkan Karadar has been writing and performing poetry for many years. The sources of inspiration and subjects of his poems are people, life, events, concepts, excitement, situations and emotions. Most of his poems are sections of his life. He publishes his poems on anthology.com. In addition, he publishes his vocalized poems on his own youtube page. He has poems such as Innocence, Sometimes, Unending Sorrow, Hope, Farewell, Time.
